Lifetime Achievement Award 2008 - Cathy Spalding The “Gentle Spirit” of Cathy Spalding, (Gentle Spirit Behavior & Training, Olympia, Washington) has been a positive influence in both the Llama and Alpaca Community for many years.  The 2008 LANA Lifetime Achievement Award serves to acknowledge the tremendous contributions of Cathy Spalding. Cathy has, and continues to be such a positive influence on our organization and the Lama Community. Cathy is very strong yet compassionate, and has done an outstanding job as current LANA President and LANA Board Member.  To say that Cathy has, and continues to be such an incredible asset to our Lama Community is truly an understatement. Cathy has helped countless people through her articles, training clinics, and her positive approach in mentoring owners for the benefit of both llamas and alpacas.  Thank You Cathy Spalding for your lifetime of positive contributions to the lama community.
